5/22/2023 0 Comments Soulcalibur 5 ps4Soulcalibur V is one hell of a fighting game, but its not without its flaws. It has more replay value and you get a cooler guest character. If you're not an XBL user, then you might just want to stick with Soul Calibur 4. Online matches with other players against their customized characters is entertaining and with great combat it's simply unbeatable. If you have XBL then you will thoroughly enjoy this game. Both English and Japanese voice acting is flawless, the graphics are clean and crisp, the combat is excellent as always, the character customization is limitless and the character designs are original and sexy. Despite the two major flaws, I still believe Soul Calibur V is a game worth being played. However, Amy's graceful fencing and my favorite Talim's dual-wield elbow blades did not return. Many of the new characters bear similar fighting styles to those absent, so it is not a huge loss. Soul Calibur V takes place 17 years after Broken Destiny, so I believe trading in some of the characters was necessary to match the timeline. ![]() Another daring move Namco made was replacing fan-favorite characters for some fresh faces. In the latest installment, that feature is lost. Having a personalized experience for each character in the game is part of what gave the Soul series so much replay value. Having a personalized experience for each Soul Calibur took a chance by changing up the story mode, a move that did not work in its favor. I strongly recommend to play this game if you are a fan of previous games - you will be impressed and pleased very well.Soul Calibur took a chance by changing up the story mode, a move that did not work in its favor. I think the game is the really successful mix of old good things and some new ideas that make the game more interesting and impressive. Yes, the inputs are different and the dynamics are not the same as like SC5 or SC4. And all of them are good-looking and attractive - everybody will find favorite characters for playing. The perfect good base mechanics and interesting new features as like Reversal Edge, Soul Charge (new incarnation) makes the gameplay really fantastic! The roster contains 90% of the most popular characters of the franchise, the rest maybe will appear in future DLC's. At last! After four hours of the online game I can say - this is my favorite game for a few next years. It is not a perfect game but it is at this moment the best 3D fighter on the current gen consoles. ![]() This easily avoided PR mess up is something they need to learn from I get the feeling that Namco gave the devs very little money for this project, and as such they needed to focus on some things, thankfully they focused on the right thing. The character in that dlc fits better into the story then some of the character in the base roster. Often you are shown the same old picture with a picture of a character and some enemy. The way in which the story is presented feels cheap, Don't get me wrong here, I do enjoy stories told to still pictures as well, just that they could have had more pictures while showing the story. Hit or miss The visuals can be good or bad depending if you like the art-style or not, personally I do like it but I can see some people not liking it. The Libra of souls has this far been way more fun then I thought it would be. The character customization is good, would have likes some more pieces of cloths but all in all it is better then Tekken 7 in this department. It feels responsive and it is easy to get into with a dept there that will be fun to explore. The most important thing, that being the combat, is great, that part is a clear 10 out of 10. This game is somewhere around 8 or 9 to be honest, with a few things dragging it down, so let me jump right into it. And here I am writing a review, scoring it above what I planed to seeing as some people scored it way to low, one even saying it uses the same And here I am writing a review, scoring it above what I planed to seeing as some people scored it way to low, one even saying it uses the same engine as SCIV, little did I know that SCIV used unreal engine 4, well riddle me silly (sarcasm).
